Uniform Guidance

A school uniform provides children with a sense of belonging. We are proud of our uniform at Turners Hill CofE Primary School and we would like to remind parents/carers that we expect the correct uniform to be worn every day in school. 

NOTES:

• Footwear - all footwear must be black leather look shoes with no discernible markings i.e. logos etc, and with black soles. Children should not wear heels, boots, backless sandals or canvas shoes.
• Jewellery – Only plain stud earrings, religious jewellery, a watch, and/or MedicAlert bracelets are allowed. Earrings must be removed or covered for PE- please note that staff cannot help with removal of earrings.
• Hair – School hairstyles must be appropriate and sensible for a learning environment, avoiding extremes like shaved patterns, Mohawks, or unnatural colours. Hair should not be shorter than a number 2 clipper length. For activities like PE, DT, and cookery, all students must tie back long hair with plain hairbands or ties.
